Fiest off, I know what these are and how I got them.  However, I've never seen any images of these anywhere. I used to work for IGT in the casino systems group.  When IGT acquired the assets of Progressive Gaming in 2009, the RFID technology was starting to be integrated into the IGT Advantage casino systems products.  I was assisting in the lab where IGT engineers were testing the integration of the RFID with Advantage.  These chips were being used to test the denomination and aggregate totals for each player spot on the 21 table.  I'm not 100% sure, but I think the Table iD name on each chip was part of the original joint effort between IGT and Progressive in branding Table iD product.  I was received a few of these chips for my chip collection from the testing lab at IGT.  Anyone else seen these before?

I haven't seen those before. Very cool chips and story to go with them.
I'm a collector of $5 Nevada casino chips.  My want list can be found here: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/dvfzow00ip0oiv9204uzd/NevadaWantList.xlsx?rlkey=1isd9j9gdwuois9oimkkgfr6q&dl=0

Clint, yes, I  have seen them and have some. They were used to demonstrate the RFID capability at G2E, over several years, as I recall.

BTW... Those and others are cataloged in The MoGH's ChipGuide.

I just did a new search at the ChipGuide and found only one TableId chip listed Item: CG257828.  If you know where to find the other TableId chips on the ChipGuide, please let me know.

The CG257828 chip is listed under Paulson, which I believe is inaccurate. Paulson just made the chips using the RFID technology for Progressive/IGT partnership. These chips were indeed used at G2E in 2009/2010 as I was one of the IGT employees assisting in the demonstrations.

I just looked under Paulson, No Cash Value chips and found all of yours except the $10,000.  In fact, they have $1, $2.50, $5, $25, $100, $500 and $5,000.  For some reason, there is no $1,000 chip.

I am always interested to see traders/dupes of: (1) all types of Aruba collectibles; (2) other Caribbean chips; (3) 21st Century NY metro area underground card club chips and business cards; and (4) chips from Newport, OR.

Thanks for the information.  I'll submit the $10K chip when I get a chance.  I've a few other things to submit also.

Clint, in you tenure at Princess Cruises, did you see their participation in the WIN CARDS Program? Also, thank you for supporting ChipGuide with submissions!

Clint Spesert R-9289

Jim,

We did have the Win Card guy, I can't remember his name, came aboard the Star Princess in Long Beach for a cruise to show us how to use them.  I had previously gone through Win Card "training" when I was a pit supervisor at Harvey's in Lake Tahoe.

We listened to his spiel and handed the Win Cards out with the Win Card chips. These were the generic pink chips provided by the Win Card guy.  The casino staff hated them and at the end of the cruise after he'd left we dumped them overboard into the Pacific Ocean.

Dumped overboard, eh? Turns out that at some point Princess had their own "WIN CARDS" chips manufactured. They had one hot-stamp design used on 2 different molds. Both the same color, but 1 one was a H/C and the other was the Princess house mold. The Princess house mold versions are exceedingly hard to find.

BTW... The guy's name was Ted Gottlieb. He is still around and lives in the Reno area.

Clint Spesert R-9289

Thanks for jogging my memory.  Ted Gottlieb was indeed his name. He also conducted the Win Card training at Harveys around 1988 or so.  I don't remember anything else about Win Cards or chips after the Star Princess episode in 1989.  They were not utilized on the other ship I worked on, Sea Princess in 1989-90. So if Win Cards were utilized fleetwide that was after my time working at sea. I was aboard the ships during 89 & 90.
