The chip guide shows a single order card for a set of denominated chips with round white inlays. The $5 denom was ordered as "red". The chip guide has two entries for that chip. One is maroon and the other is brown. There's a picture of the maroon chip but no picture for brown. Does anyone have one?

I have a chip that I consider maroon (but I could see how it could be interpreted as brown). An eBay seller has the same chip (per my eyeballs) and he's calling his brown. I would posit that there is no maroon or brown, and the chip that the eBay seller and I both have is the red chip as noted on the order card. If that's the case, should the chip guide, change the description from maroon to red and leave that as the only CG number, deleting the entry for the brown chip?

Sorry for the bad pic. This chip is in an airtite under a vinyl desk mat and glare is coming in from all directions.

I don't have one, but I am easily see how different people could call the same thing brown, maroon and (deep) red. Especially if brown and red were standard colors. If maroon isn't an option, and it isn't brown, if must be (deep) red.

First off, thank you for the reply and your thoughts.  Second, thanks for replying here instead of the chip board! :)

With David Sarles' response via the Chip Board, I submitted updates for the 2 chips in question.  So, the chip guide is now nearly perfect. :)
