Looking for information on Greg Susong Memorial Poker Tournament chip

Hi all, Can anyone provide background information for this chip and/or for the event that it honors?

Greg Susong was a CCA (then, CC&GTCC) club member and pioneer in online message boarding and in creating the predecessor of the MoGH/ChipGuide. In fact, he started the ChipBoard message board, if you're familiar with it. Well-liked by everyone. He passed away too soon in 2008 but he is still fondly remembered.

There have been numerous "Greg Susong (Memorial) Get-Together" events on the Tuesday evening prior to the annual CCA conventions, for those who have arrived in LV early for the convention and enjoy saying hello in person.

That's all background FYI. The chip you show is a bit different. Some club members who also play poker held a Susong poker tournament annually in his honor for a few years. Your chip was made as a hand-out to the players in the tournament, as a souvenir. The actual tournament was held at the M Resort on the date shown. It was arranged by a local LV club member.
