Help identifying Fitzgeralds Las Vegas $100 obsolete casino chip

Hi everyone,

I own this Fitzgeralds Las Vegas $100 chip from years ago and I'm trying to identify the exact ChipGuide listing and estimate current collector value. Appreciate any and all feedback!

Information:

• Fitzgeralds Las Vegas (Fremont Street)

• $100 denomination

• Original chip (not a reproduction)

• Casino no longer operates under Fitzgeralds name

• Photos of front, back and edge attached

Could anyone identify:

• ChipGuide catalog number

• Approximate year issued

• Manufacturer

• Relative rarity

• Recent market value or comparable sales

The chip has not been cleaned at all fwiw

Go to chipguide.themogh.org -- you'll see a USA map. Click on Nevada, and search in the "F"'s, then scroll down to Fitzgerald's (Las Vegas). Scroll down until you see your $100 chip -- I've made a screenshot of it below.

Answering your questions the "CG" number is CG059457, with an issue date of 1992. It was made by Paulson in a Hat & Cane (H&C) mold. I don't know about rarity or value as I'm not a big-denomination chip collector. I will say that the gouge or chip on one side, at the 2 o'clock position and general wear will affect value. Doubtful it is worth face value at this point, IMO, though I'm not an expert.
