I am ALWAYS in search of casino tokens from anywhere that are or were made of silver. Could be sterling or .999. There are many on my want list. And I have friends who also love these so if a duplicate for me I can still maybe have a buyer for your tokens or bars. From any casino any where. Please post here or shoot me an email . I love to trade also which helps both collections.

Hi Dennis.  Thanks for posting.  Just a reminder to everyone that there's a category for buying/selling/trading as well, so feel free to post your items there.  I'm working on adding a shopping cart/auction mechanism but need to figure out if there's a way to do it without us/me/the club incurring a bunch of work and avoiding any liability.
I'm a collector of $5 Nevada casino chips.  My want list can be found here: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/dvfzow00ip0oiv9204uzd/NevadaWantList.xlsx?rlkey=1isd9j9gdwuois9oimkkgfr6q&dl=0

I handed a copy of the various compositions and weights, to the local coin dealer, years ago. I just thought it was fair to him to know that some were different amounts of silver and some different grades.

Looking at eBay sold auctions, I was surprised to see the Silver Strikes still trading at $15-$20 each. I don't know what silver is at, so maybe that's why? I sold off most of mine years ago, but kept some of the unusual Gold Country that had different outer rings.

I'm not sure about people paying $20 for $12 worth of silver. Are there that many collectors or do some people still search for the hard to find varieties?

I also left a card and said, anyone that comes in with casino chips, I'm interested. Never had a call.
I collect Wisconsin and Elko chips.
Trading is favorable (In your favor) 👍 if you have anything I can add to my collection. I have many chips, Keys, TITOs, slot cards, ashtrays, tokens, dice, + other items to trade.

Well, I can assure you that I've paid a very high "price per pound" for clay, so I'm not sure why anyone would be surprised that there's a markup/premium on a precious metal.
