I happened to be in Westchester County, New York last weekend, with a lot of time to kill.  So, I was close enough to Yonkers to drop by and finally check out the Empire City Casino.

The Empire City Casino is a slots only casino built on a horse track, the Yonkers Raceway:

I arrived about 5 minutes before it opened.  There was actually a line to get in.  I was behind 20 people and by the time it opened (on time), there were another 20 behind me.  I don't know why, but I wasn't expecting it.

I was pleasantly surprised to find it a very clean and well maintained casino.  Typical flashy carpets and decor.  Slots everywhere, including machines that looked like you were playing all of the biggest table games: blackjack, roulette, baccarat, craps, 3-card poker, texas hold 'em (the table game, not the poker game) and even a big 6 wheel and sic bo!

As you can see, you can sit and watch the roulette wheel spin, the craps dice "roll", etc.  My understanding is these slots do not work like Vegas slots, but are instead more of a lottery type machine where your button push predetermines the outcome, but I could be wrong.

Most of the machines are your basic slots:

Here are some more photos:

I am not a slot player and figured I would get a card, drop $40, have a good time and leave.  The cards, though, are basic MGM cards.  Oh well.  To my surprise, though:

I walked out a winner.

Overall, I thought it was a nice looking place.  If slots are your thing, it seemed pretty fun, with clean bathrooms.  Walking out with extra cash, though, was certainly a bonus.
I am always interested to see traders/dupes of: (1) all types of Aruba collectibles; (2) other Caribbean chips; (3) 21st Century NY metro area underground card club chips and business cards; and (4) chips from Newport, OR.

I'm a collector of $5 Nevada casino chips.  My want list can be found here: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/dvfzow00ip0oiv9204uzd/NevadaWantList.xlsx?rlkey=1isd9j9gdwuois9oimkkgfr6q&dl=0
