To all of you long time friends and chip cronies of Greg's, know you're not forgotten and I think fondly of you often.

Most recently you're in my thoughts as I read Bill Gates' "Source Code", the first part of his biographical trilogy that just came out this month.

Bill details his recollections of how he started Microsoft. So much of Greg's early entry into computer programming (he bought his first PC in early '81) parallels those early years for Gates.

If my memory serves, there are a few of you guys who conversed with Greg pre-internet on bulletin boards. It's a good read; I think you early pioneers in the PC market will enjoy Gates' telling of this part of history.

I see the club is still presenting the annual award in his memory—how kind and thoughtful of you.

My best to everyone!

Love,

Carol

Hi Carol.  I joined the CCA in 2019 and never had the pleasure of meeting Greg, but as you know, his name is synonymous with all things collectible as far as casinos go, and I'm grateful for everything he did to help create the club that exists today.

I'm a collector of $5 Nevada casino chips.  My want list can be found here: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/dvfzow00ip0oiv9204uzd/NevadaWantList.xlsx?rlkey=1isd9j9gdwuois9oimkkgfr6q&dl=0

What a sweet message, Barry. I'm confident you would have liked him—Greg never met a stranger. Thanks for reaching out.

And, it's nice to see the chip guide, message board, and the club are still very much intact. He would be thrilled with everyone who keeps the tech connection going. Have a great day!
