Some nice features of this board

In case you haven't discovered them yet, here are some features that are available to you here that aren't available on the CB or the CCA site:

• Likes - you can like a post and see a count of how many people liked it besides you.
• Trader points system - give/get kudos when you trade chips (or advice) with each other.  New people can get a feel for how honorable someone they don't know is by looking at that value.
• Events calendar - Click the calendar and add relevant events.  The upcoming convention is there, complete with flyer.
• Communication - send a private message or email to any other member on the board.  Links below their name on any post or in their profile.
• More communication - Members who add links to skype, icq, facebook, and other social media platforms (add-on being installed soon to allow virtually all of them) can be reached through links below their name and in their profile.
• HTML/Smileys/Formatting - posts can be enhanced using tags and formatting buttons.  In addition, there are TONS of smileys you can use, and I believe you can even upload your own smileys from external sources.
• Choose your views - Select from a number of themes or download a new one
• Posting - embed images, attach MULTIPLE files, insert YouTube videos, format text as if you're using Word, insert tables like excel, and more.
• Reading - Click Unread Posts and Updated Topics at the top to see what's new at a glance.
• Profile - Edit your name, nickname, email address, time zone, city, and many other settings to personalize your profile and customize your experience here.
• Other features will be added over time, and requests are welcome at any time.

You don't have to give out your email address to anyone who comes to the forum. Better privacy than some other BBs. PM is direct and eventually should send a notification when you get something, to your email, so everyone doesn't have to keep looking.

This software takes some teething but it can support a variety of areas, not just subjects. And the threading makes sense, message don't become ghosts, until someone clicks the more recent. You see the whole chain of comments.

You can correct errors and typos. I make plenty of those.
