Hi, John.  Some others suggested Nov/Dec as well, but with the SNCCC show in Sept, that puts 3 shows within 6 months as well.  Although weather isn't usually TOO bad in November here (ski resorts TRY hard to open by Thanksgiving), it is pretty cold.  Whereas in April/May, there's often still snow on Mt Rose (20 minutes away) if visitors want to get a day of bluebird skiing in, but it's warm enough you can do it in shorts.  Anyway, I appreciate your future vote and look forward to seeing you at a future event as well.

It's been 8 or 9 years since I've been to Reno/Tahoe. I would have loved to come to your show but I'm visiting Las Vegas in February and with me on the east coast, May is just too close to the CCA convention in June.

For me the ideal time for a show in Reno would be October or November, before the winter weather sets in. I wish you every success and whenever it is I will be there next time!

PS: You have my vote!  ;D

I'm hosting the 1st (hopefully annual) Reno Collectibles Show on May 2-4, 2025 at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. 40,000 square feet of high-end collectibles, including casino items of course, will be present. Lots of fun activities as well. Save the date and get ready to make your plans. 100+ dealer tables available. I'll update this event with details and signup forms as soon as I get everything dialed in.

In a realm filled with chips, cards, and promotional items, have you stumbled upon any items that defy the norm? Perhaps a unique piece of history or an oddity that tells a fascinating story about the casino culture? Share your finds!",

As technology advances and casinos shift towards online platforms, how do you see the relevance and value of physical casino collectibles evolving? Will they become rare artifacts of nostalgia, or do you think there's potential for new forms of digital collectibles that could replace traditional memorabilia?",

The CCA website now has a Suggestions and Feedback form. You can find it by clicking on the "About" drop-down at the top of the page, or by finding the link at the very bottom left of the page. Location will vary based on whether you're using a computer or phone. The direct link is here:

https://ccgtcc.com/suggestions

It's very easy to use. A couple of drop downs for category/sub-category (to make sure your submission gets directed to the proper person) and a few fields to fill in. Please use this to submit new ideas you have for the club, problems you find with the website itself, or issues you're having with your membership, etc. It is NOT the correct venue for filing a complaint against another member.

A BIG THANKS TO MIKE BRODEUR, WEBMASTER, FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS IN SUCH A TIMELY FASHION

CCA Members: the club has started using Constant Contact to communicate with members.

The first email was sent this morning. If you have NOT received that email it means:

- the club doesn't have your email address or it's bad

- you unsubscribed the email we have in your membership from the Newsletter (which unsubscribes you from ALL CCA communication)

In either of these cases please reach out to me and I can correct it (greatoz99 at yahoo dot com)

Thanks,

- Bob
