Noted here is the CCA Board Policy on Non-Dealer Selling/Sales at the CCA Convention and Show. We thank you for your attention to this important matter.

Tomorrow's the last day to book your room discount. Don't say you weren't warned.

I was working on that a bit last week. Charles Kaplan creates one each year. I asked if he had one for this year yet and he said he was waiting for the info to be published by the club first. So... coming soon?

Will there be a complete show schedule (like a PDF) so that I can see everything that is going on?  I seem to learn about things that are happening after they happened and I'd like to plan on attending more sessions and events this year.

Events / DEADLINE TO GET HOTEL DISCOUNT
Last post by Barry Sherwood R-9037 (admin) - May 11, 2024, 10:55 PM
Book your room using the CCA's discount code at the South Point. Each room booked helps us get better rates and rooms for next year. Support the club AND enjoy the convenience. Here's a link to the registration and hotel info page on the club site:

If you have any trouble, reach out to a board member or reply here and I'll get you the help you need.

Hi, everyone. For those of you who have not yet booked a room at the South Point and/or registered for the convention and/or bought your banquet tickets, this link will take you directly to the page with all of the info needed:

Hotel discount ends May 21st, so book now before you forget.

https://ccgtcc.com/events/convention/registration.aspx

If you have difficulty with anything, let a board member know or reply here and I'll get you the help and answers you need.

A quick plug for staying at the South Point... I don't care if you have comps or find better prices elsewhere. If you do NOT stay at the SP during the convention, it hurts the club and can jeopardize our ability to negotiate favorable rates for the convention floor, the union workers fees, and more. Consider the cost to drive to the SP from your cheaper/free hotel. Consider how much earlier you have to get up to drive over. Consider the Uber/lyft fees. Instead of all that hassle, just change out of your jammie's upstairs and wander down to the show floor with your eyes half closed. Grab a coffee and get ready to buy all the chips that the dealers have (bring your wallet or PayPal ID). In addition to the convenience, the food at all of the restaurants is top notch, so you don't have to travel around town to eat. Plus, you get a coupon book with freebies and discounts. If nothing I just said can convince you to drop your other reservation and stay at the South Point, maybe other people can add something that I overlooked.

Looks like you DID register. I've updated your status to be that of a "non-member". If you're a CCA member, give me your full name and membership number and I'll update your permissions so you can use extra features. If you're not a CCA member, please consider joining us. Details at https://ccgtcc.com/membership

Thanks - Barry

I'm working on adding the signup link to the newsletter page of the club site.
