Title: Call for Flamingo Casino Collectibles and Memorabilia...
Post by: Jim Follis LM-3872-53 on Oct 24, 2026, 11:46 AM
The Museum of Gaming History (MoGH) is pleased to announce that we are partnering with the Flamingo Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas, to install a Trail of the MoGH Milestone, which will be in celebration of the Flamingo's 80th anniversary.

This exhibit will be entitled "Forever Fabulous: The Flamingo 80th Experience".

As with the newly installed "Caesars Palace 60th Anniversary Experience" former CCA Secretary and MoGH Board member, James Hogg has graciously and strategically coordinated this new partnership between the MoGH and Caesars Entertainment to install a museum quality exhibit at the Flamingo, along their Promenade, a highly travelled walkway, giving the exhibit great exposure to thousands of Flamingo patrons daily.

The MoGH is now soliciting CCA members, and non-members, support in acquiring Flamingo collectibles and memorabilia, on a loaning basis, to be displayed at the exhibit for a period of 6 - 12 months, starting in mid-November, just before F1. As the MoGH has done with all of it's Milestone locations, we are asking for our membership to review their casino collectible holdings for Flamingo memorabilia, as listed below, and to consider loaning items to the MoGH for display at the Flamingo Experience.

We are in need of most anything branded with the Flamingo name, from any and all of the 3 iterations of the Flamingo, the early years, Flamingo HILTON years and the current era.

Gaming chips and tokens to include rack chips, NCV chips, roulettes, Limited Edition and especially early years gaming chips, which will be well secured.

Food and beverage menus.

Employee badges and name tags.

Dinner ware (plates, glasses, silverware).

Promotional items and advertising.

Photographs and documents.

And of course, slot cards, room keys (plastic and metal), ashtrays, dice, playing cards, event ticket stubs, uniforms, security badges/patches, coin cups (paper and plastic) and all other items pertaining to the fabulous history of the longest operating casino on The Strip!

Please direct any questions or offers of loanable items to:
