I'm going to be liquidating the last of what casino chips and memorabilia I still own, to save my kids the aggravation. My question: I have three 1996 car series collections from each of the Nevada Flamingo Hiltons, and a 1997 Flamingo - Reno military flight collection that was issued in conjunction with the Reno Air Races. These all have an identical issue number of 90. Is there any value in keeping the collection together, or should I break it up into individual sets, or even individual chips. There is greater valuation on specific chips.
Thanks for any feedback
We're going to find out the value of that last set (aircraft) at the club auction in June. A CCA Member donated that set to be auctioned off. in general, I would think selling an intact set of chips all with the same serial number would fetch more value. Just a quick reminder (to all), no buying or selling is allowed to take place in these message boards at this time, so be sure not to solicit offers. Otherwise, post away!
